Let me introduce myself. I am Philip Girardin, an attorney in Southern California.

and warfare from 1800 to 1945. From Napoleon to Operation Keelhaul. I have an unusual take on the causes and campaigns of battles in this period, and the effect of sustained combat on those involved. Dresden, Hiroshima. Pearl Harbor, repatriation of 1945, Versailles and my greatest love, The War Between the States . My heroes range from Robert E. Lee to Mel Gibson. The policies of John May nard Keyes to FDR to St. John F Kennedy are an anathema to me. I believe liberals should be given no intellectual quarter. Give 'em the cold steel !
